The Greene County Foundation announced three grants from the Board of Realtors/Greene County Fund. BBOR established the fund in 2017 to provide support for organizations engaged in community-improvement activities or projects within Greene County.
This year’s grant recipients are Bloomfield Downtown Revitalization, Pregnancy Choices, and Erin’s Purpose. Bloomfield Downtown Revitalization was awarded $1,120 for banners; Pregnancy Choices was awarded $1,600 for ten car seats; and Erin’s Purpose was awarded $1,550.96 for a deck and counseling room renovations.
“We are grateful to live in a community that works together to help one another. The grant we received from Bloomington Board of Realtors will allow us to purchase car seats, so that every mom who comes through our doors can provide safe transportation for her baby,” said Rebecca Smith, executive director of Pregnancy Choices.
“Bloomington Board of Realtors is a great partner, and we’re thankful for all they do to support Greene County,” said Sherri Knieriem, chief executive officer of the Foundation.
