On April 13, 2018, the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office Victim Advocate Division and the Greene County Sexual Assault Response Team will be holding a fundraising event on Sexual Assault Awareness called “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes.” The event will begin at 11:30 a.m., and consists of walking one mile around the Greene County Courthouse Square – the premise is to walk a mile in the shoes of someone whose experiences you may not otherwise know, so men are encouraged to walk in high heels and women are encouraged to walk in men’s work boots. The cost is $12.00 for registration, and you may purchase this year’s t-shirt for $10.00.
