The Greene County Foundation has been awarded a certificate of full compliance by the Indiana Council on Foundations. The process requires a submission for review of meeting minutes, policies, procedures, and a narrative on how the Foundation conducts it business. The year long process requires a review on two levels, one by a peer and another at the state level. The intent of the compliance is to ensure donors the Foundation is operating in compliance with IRS regulations as well demonstrating ethical practices. The Foundation will come under review again in five years.
