The Board of Directors of the Greene County Foundation, presented a check for $200,000 to Commissioner Rick Graves. The check is a result of private donations from individuals and businesses for the renovation of he Community Building.
The Board of Directors of the Greene County Foundation has established a perpetual endowment for the maintenance and upkeep of the Community Building at the 4-H fairgrounds. The initial gift of $50,000 by the Foundation Board will help support maintenance and provide for on-going improvements once the renovation is completed spring of 2015. Additional contributions to the fund will increase the annual award and contributions are eligible for a 50% match through March 31, 2016 or until match dollars are exhausted.
