Greene County Foundation Honors 2007 Scholarship Winners

The Greene County Foundation Board of Directors announced the second round of their 2007 scholarship award winners today. Twenty two area high school seniors will receive community support as they head off to higher educational opportunities.

"Our scholarship committee had a difficult time with this year's applicants," noted Kerry Conway, executive director of the Greene County Foundation. "This was an extraordinary year in terms of scholastic achievement for high school seniors. The committee had to make some very hard choices."

The first round of scholarship announcements featured the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship winners: Laura Correll of Linton and Kevin Cross of White River Valley.
